It has been 5 years since the devastating Rodeo-Chediski fire in Arizona. Jim Paxon was with the U.S. Forest Service and became the face and the voice of the tragedy. With a great deal of urging from others, Jim s written the definitive book on the fire called "The Monster Reared His Ugly Head".

Doug Nintzel, the public information officer from ADOT is in with his tips for having a safe vehicle trip on Memorial Day weekend. Ward Connerly, Greg Patterson, The Espresso Pundit reminds us, is the man that got affirmative action overturned in other states. Connerly has now set his sights on Arizona.

Doug Nintzel, the public information officer from ADOT is in early this week to tell us more about the 24 lanes of freeway proposed for the Broadway curve in Phoenix and we talk about Service Arizona. It's a great way to avoid the MVD office for many ADOT services. Doug also tells us about a glitch in the road to Tonto Natural Bridge and U.S. 60 improvements are nearing completion.

Russ Jones is a former member of the Arizona State Legislature and so is our Greg Patterson, The Espresso Pundit. This week Greg is mystified at why the Government is going after Jones for alleged violations on his nominating petitions. It's a story about Government out of control you'll want to hear.

School is almost out and Jody Owen from "The Space You're In" has helpful information to make the transition to the summer go more smoothly.
